One of my first photos ever and still one of my most popular! I created this image on my first over seas expedition to Austria. After hours of hiking steep edges and cliffs, I arrived at this hut hidden high in the Dachstein Alps. it truly is a sight to behold - the rugged mountainscape with such a beautiful and timeless hut resting on top. Even after seven years of professional landscape photography, “Doorway to Adventure” remains one of my most popular due to the sense of wonder and adventure it stirs in ones soul! I have it proudly hanging in my studio to remind me of such themes.

Sands of Time

“Sands of Time” was taken during one of the craziest wind storms I have ever experienced. I did not have to travel far capture the elements in their raw forms, as these dunes are in my home state of Colorado. After hiking for several hours, and fighting against blowing sand storm - this photo emerged from the dust. I do understand why Anakin Skywalker dislikes sand now, “it gets everywhere” including my camera equipment.

I love aerial photography! - during my trip to New South Whales, Australia I envisioned a top down shot of water and earth colliding. After several attempts to gain the right composition, the crashing waves revealed something magical!
